Looking for an affordable place to live in Fujairah can be a bit of a challenge, but it is certainly possible. It is not because property in the city is expensive; on the contrary, property prices in Fujairah are on the whole much cheaper than Dubai for example, and the city has experienced very little of the property-induced inflation that has swept across the rest of the country. The reason why residential property is somewhat scarce in Fujairah is because the city has chosen to focus its development efforts on resorts instead of residential property.
