Praslin

Praslin is the second largest island within the Seychelles archipelago and home to one of the two UNESCO World Heritage sites in the Seychelles, Valee de Mei, the original Garden of Eden.

The island is home to a number of indigenous bird life such as the Seychelles Bulbul and Seychelles Black Parrot and also the unusual Coco de Mer palm and several rare orchids. As you would expect from an island paradise, the beaches will not disappoint, boasting as it does two of the worlds finest at Anse Lazio & Anse Georgette, both appearing on the worlds best beach lists in recent times.

How to get there

Flights to Praslin are via Mahe International Airport on the capital island, a mere 20 minute flight by hopper plane. Most major airlines fly into Mahe with wide bodied jets serving the region.
